Tip #4: Learn how to write press releases. Send out at least one per quarter. There is a skill to writing press releases, and there are many good resources to help you write them effectively. The key is to write them effectively AND to send them out regularly. At least once per quarter is a good place to start. Be sure to tie them to some national or local event to get more value for your effort. I definitely could be better at implementing this strategy. Note to self.
