Planning Your Marketing for 2005 II

by Dr. Rachna D. Jain

Idea #2: Look at what marketing avenues bring you return and are easy and enjoyable for you. If an avenue brings you great return, but you don't really like it, make a plan to increase your skills or capabilities in this area. Here's an example: Let's say that you seem to get many clients/inquiries from speaking at local events, but, each time you're about to speak, you feel anxious, sweaty, and uncomfortable. Make a commitment to yourself (and your stress level) that you'll get the training, tools, support, or whatever you need to make speaking more fun and enjoyable this year.
