Additional Streams of Income

  • Doom, Gloom, The Economy and You

Hopefully it's not just me (because that would mean I'm being cranky!), but are you, too, *really* sick of the doom, gloom, and all the negative press about the economy and the recession and blah…blah..blah?

Me too – in case you hadn't guessed that by now. I see so many people spending a lot of time worrying about what will happen when they really need to be focused on what they are going to do. In these times of uncertainty, we can sit around and worry, or we can refocus on our businesses and do more of what's working, and less of what's not.

  • Cutting expenses can create additional income.

I never advocate skimping or going without, it's just that you and I can be paying way more than we should for basic business services. If you aren't feeling much like working (and I know I'm not, with the upcoming holiday)- you might want to take a few minutes to re-evaluate your business expenses and look for ways to cut some costs for 2006.

  • Getting paid for what you use anyway.

Ok, so I have to admit-I am somewhat late to the whole affiliate marketing process- whereby you recommend other peoples' products and receive a commission on completed sales. I resisted this for years (mostly out of a lack of knowledge about the process) but I've just started to dip my toe into the affiliate marketing stream. Why the shift? Well, I noticed that I tend to make recommendations to others when I find a product I really love.
