Get your policies in place.

Does your business have well-defined policies already in place? If not, it's a good idea to craft some. While these policies will differ based on your particular type of business, here are some ideas of areas to create policies around: Fees & payment Guarantees Returns Refunds Termination Limits of Confidentiality Special Procedures Dispute resolution …just to name a few. The terrific part of having policies is that it helps you create a structure and framework which strengthens your business and projects a polished, professional image. Clients enjoy working with you when they know what to expect. Having a defined set of policies can free you from reacting in crisis mode and gives you a set of guidelines to refer back to and lean on when needed. If you could benefit from writing or revising your business policies, I invite you to do so- today.
