The ultimate goal is to get paid for being yourself.

Last night, I was listening in on a teleclass about internet marketing- and one of the points raised on the class was really important- and poignant. The guest speaker ended the call with saying that she really enjoyed her work and life as an internet marketer and that she was finally being paid to be herself. This struck me as a wonderful and worthwhile goal. All of our work to market ourselves, brand ourselves, and promote ourselves is really, at the heart of it, a way to show the world who we are and, hopefully, to gain abundance in doing so. We hear so much about the importance of building relationships and building community- especially on the internet- yet so many small business owners shy away from letting themselves be known. If you decide to let yourself be known, and to "let your light shine" you might just find the ultimate satisfaction that of being paid well to just be yourself.
