Clean your desk.
Set aside time each week to clean and organize your desk. This can be done in just 5 or 10 minutes at the end of each day, or in one hour on a Friday. I find that taking the time to clean off my desk helps me feel a sense of accomplishment, as well as re-orienting me to what my priorities are for the next week. Since I tend to have multiple projects in play at any one time, staying organized is a key factor to getting things done.
